Our Story
On a Monday after Thanksgiving break, a 12 year old student fell out of her desk and passed out on the floor. After the paramedics revived her, we found out she hadn’t eaten since the last school lunch prior to Thanksgiving break. This child left school and went home to a house with no food! That day was a wake up call for us. We cannot expect our kids to thrive and learn when they are hungry. Hunger is a real thing right here in your community. There are families around you that struggle to put food on the table. I vowed that day that not on my watch would these kids go hungry. Out of this tragic event, Inspired Vision Compassion Center was born.

We strive to be a transformative organization that helps reshape our community into one that rises above the inequities that have trapped families in poverty for generations.
We transform lives in our community through prayer, mentoring, educating and supporting families in crisis.
