Hope

Hope in a broken world

We live in a very broken world. This world needs hope! This world needs Jesus. Daily, we deal with heart wrenching situations. We pray over the broken, hungry, hurting, and poor. It is so much more than giving food.

Inspired Vision Compassion Center has given groceries to over 243,000 families in 2019. But we do so much more than giving food. On an average day, we pray with, and hug a mother of four children, who has no hope. One instance recently, is a woman whose husband was deported. He was met with gang members across the border, who murdered him. We provided food and asked for God's comfort. I wish we could do more.

on a daily basis

On a daily basis, we pray over ladies who have been abused or have court hearings. There are many tears. They are so scared. It is so difficult to meet your abusers in court. We pray, and let God work it out. It is heart wrenching at times. We look for beds and other things to help families. We have families facing many situations: eviction, homelessness, joblessness, and much more. They have nothing and they show up needing help. We give them what we have. We give them toothbrushes, hygiene items, clothing, shoes, toys, and food.

SENIOR CITIZENS

Many of the senior citizens live on a $700 a month SS check, and get $7 to $12 a month of food stamps. They can't afford medicine. Many are going hungry, and are embarrassed to ask for help. When I asked a senior what he liked, his reply was "It doesn't matter. If it is food I will eat it."

Children and Babies

We have parents come in with no food or diapers for their babies. We see babies crying because they are hungry. We find diapers and formula. We help pregnant mothers who need basic necessities for their unborn babies. Every life has value.
